I got the AWPE letter

So I got the awpe letter, and it says I have to take this writing test, which i do not want to. I took the ACT and I got a 29, requirement was 30, and that was the only test I sent in. Thus, they sent me a letter and such to pass the exam. However, another requirement to not take the exam is to have a 680 or better on the SAT writing section. I got a 710 on the SAT writing section that I didn’t send. Can I send that in and get waived from the exam? So is it possible? Would it make me look bad though because I thought it was a requirement to send all test scores.

Please help thank you

You are only required for the UC’s to send all ACT or SAT scores but I would send in your SAT score to get the APWE exemption.

So if I send in the sat score how would I check if I got waived from the test?
And I initially didn’t send all my test scores and now I have to send in my sat
So would they think bad about me since I lied?
And this is the thing I read

680 or better on the College Board SAT Reasoning Test, Writing (last administered January 2016); or

Wat does last administ red January 2016 mean? Cuz my 710 is from that date

Actually it looks like you will not be exempt from the testing since your test scores need to be recorded by UC admissions by April 1. Since you have not submitted your SAT score, you should take the exam so you can then register for Fall Classes.

From the FAQ’s for the APWE:::
The only UC freshmen from California who don’t have to take the examination are those who have test scores that satisfy the Entry Level Writing requirement recorded in the University’s admissions system on or before April 1.
