I had a D in geometry but made it up in summer school?

I got a D in the first semester of geometry my sophomore year of high school and made it up that following summer to a C. I got a B second semester but on my transcripts it shows up for that semester as a D. I plan on applying to several CSU schools, I am a Cali resident but will they know I made it up to a better grade? How will they know? I'm worried they'll see the D and disqualify me :(

Your summer school grade should show up on your transcript unless you took the class at another school. If you took it at another school, you need to get a copy of that transcript also.
When you apply you will self report your grades and you do not send in any transcripts for the CSU’s until you are accepted.

You definitely need to get the transcript corrected asap. It’s true that you self-report your grades, but then the schools do see your transcript after acceptance, and the D is very likely to throw up a red flag and possibly disqualify you.

Also, teachers do get transferred. Better to correct it while the teacher is still around.
