I received a D+ the first semester and a B second semester. I spoke with my teacher on how to make it up. He recommended a summer course and I took it. After completing it, I received a B. The registrar put the grade into my transcript, but its not in the section where I received the D. It is in its on own section. Will UC’s see the D and auto disqualify me or will they see the B?
For the UC application, you have to self-report the D along with the repeat. The B will be calculated into your GPA and not the D. The UC’s will be aware the D anyways since you have to send a final transcript once accepted and enrolled. If you select not to report the D, you could be rescinded since your self-reported grades do not match your transcript. No worries, you repeated the class and passed.
