I have a quick question

The ACT scores reported on my official transcript should be fine, correct? I don't believe this school stated preference on the method they wanted them and I requested of my school to send my transcript in December of 08.

OK, maybe I had two questions. I requested that my transcripts be sent before I sent my application because of the early deadline request at my school. This should be fine as well, correct? If not, I can still get them to arrive by the January 12 deadline that they have for this stuff which is why I came here to ask just to be sure.

My experience is that if the ACT/SAT scores are on the official transcript, everything should be fine. At first, I checked on their site and it told me that they did not receive the scores. Then about 2 weeks later, they turned over the transcript and saw that they got the scores. No problem there. And as for sending in the transcript early, I don't think it matters. They do no touch any of your material until they receive it all, they just file it away. They got my transcript 5 weeks before I turned my app in.

You need to send official scores from testing agency. UIUC used to accept transcript scores, no longer as of two years ago. They will possibly make decision without it but you may instead get a notice that you better get it in.

I emailed and then called to confirm on the issue of official test scores, so I feel confident with a double confirmation despite confusing/conflicting information on the website. I was told that the ACT/SAT scores on the transcript were fine but that if admitted and attending then the scores would need to be sent from the testing agency. By the way, my daughter was accepted priority with her transcript scores only so this confirms that they are fine with the transcript scores initially.
