Urgent question regarding SAT/ACT scores!

All this time I thought that the transcripts that my gc sends to schools were the official SAT/ACT scores. I sent in my SAT scores directly from collegeboard tonight with rush delivery but they won't arrive until after jan 1st. I'm scared that this will jeopardize my applications. Will this be a really big problem? My counselor already sent in the transcripts a while ago: is this considered the official score report that schools are looking for?

Second question: Do I need to send in my ACT scores from act.org? the only two options are sending it to my high school or to my home. Does this mean it's too late for me to send in ACT scores to colleges?

please help!

you said the colleges have your scores. They'll need to organize all the things they get before going through them anyways. No worries

That's wrong and has always been wrong. And high schools aren't even supposed to put your test scores on your transcript unless you signed a specific waiver allowing them to do that.

You should always send official score reports from the testing agency directly to the college when applying to college.

You may still be okay on the deadlines. Just send the scores as soon as you can and don't worry about it too much. Read the application instructions carefully; this is generally explained clearly by colleges.

Good luck in your applications.
