Columbia, Cornell, Northwestern, UVA, WashU
... It was a hard choice, but I think I'm gonna be happiest at Dartmouth. (Btw, I know my name is MITh0p3ful, and MIT is verry different from Dartmouth, but that doesn't mean I can't love both schools for different reasons!)

^lol. That's okay. I actually visited MIT and really liked it too. It's definitely a trade-off. For most departments, the academics might be better (read, more rigorous) at MIT. But honestly, college is supposed to be the best 4 years of your life, and I realized I would come out of there feeling like I missed out.

Also, congrats to everyone else on all those schools. This is a really really great list.

interesting contrast here, a lot of apps. to uchicago vs. dartmouth, thought the schools were considerably different?

Dartmouth over Middlebury, BC Honors, Bowdoin & Colgate & William and Mary (scholar things), URochester half-tuition, etc. Hard to choose between Dart and Midd, but I couldn't be more excited be in Hanover next year!

re: Procrastination- a lot of kids probably applied EA to uchicago, plus the fact that you'll get a different subset of the population on CC that might favor the highly academic environment
