I have weird criteria for college....

deadline is comming up!!

it's between..
-U of MN
-UW Madison
-Boston U

i'm going into mechanical engineering. but a HUGE factor of my decision is the music scene, mainly the nightlife & clubscene.

i know that UW madison has the best ME program out of all, but idk about the music scene.
i know that Boston U has a great music scene, but idk about the ME program....
then the twin cities has a little of both but a notch below both when looking at the factors individually.

comming from chicago, i have grown to love electronic dance music and the HUGE clubscene in the area. i know that none of the listed schools can even compare when it comes to the club scene around here, but which would be the closest?? it doesnt have to be like INSIDE the univ, but nearest, for example, i think that milwaukee is close enough to madison where i can go whenever i want? and i think that milwaukee has a pretty good club scene? but how does it compare to twin cities and boston??

music is a HUGE passion of mine (not to say that i am not at all interested engineering. engineering is like my second passion.), and i dont want to have to give that up when i go to college. in fact, my true dream is to open up some kind of music franchise, but use engineering as a 'stable day-job' for awhile.

i know.. i have weird criteria but i'm torn. plzz help mee.

I think Minnesota actually has the edge in terms of ME programs. It also has a strong business school, as I’m sure you know, and if you want to get into the music business that could be a strong asset.
