Not that I don't want the interview, but isn't it too late already? Weren't the reports due back in Mid February?

That's what my interview told me-- Feb 15

Good luck!

I'm sure interviewers turn things in late all the time. They're just volunteers after all. This might actually be to your advantage. If you have an outstanding interview, im sure the interviewer will contact the admissions office for you. If not, they might not bother to send in something that would hurt your chances.

interview reports are due on March 8th..
I had my Princeton interview like a week ago and I was the first one to get interviewed in my area...

Daughter had her interview on Tuesday. Seems like a real push to get intereviews in now.

I have an interview for Yale on Sunday.. so you're not the only one, heh.

Wow...first Feb.15, then Feb.27 (what my interviewer told me), now March 8th....

I think Yale tells them the earlier date so the interviewers will go ahead and schedule the interviews. The March 8 date probably reflects the latest date at which there is any hope of being read.

Lol, she was supposed to call yesterday but she didn't. I hope she's ok :)

Good luck.

thanks you guys!

so she finally called me and it's going to take place this saturday. . . Think it'll be too late by then?

Too late for what? The interview barely matters anyway. You'll be fine. Makes for a more relaxing interview now that you know how little it counts.

We were given Feb 15 as a new deadline this year (they moved it up). Mallomar: I beg to differ about the interviews. They sometimes can be the tipping factor one way or another. Mostly, they go to confirm what is already written about the student by the teachers and counselors. Sometimes they raise red flags and or highlight or explain items previously vague to the file readers. It does count -- but it should be relaxed anyways -- just be yourself.

Our area is fortunate in that there are many interviewers and we fufill over 90% of the interviews with area applicants. Although not absolutely essential to one's admission, it gives just one more bit of data to the admissions ofc.
