Interview now...?

I just received an email today from the Princeton Admission Office issueing an interview..
Its the end of feb.. I thought the reports were due in ages ago?

Is this a good sign? haha just some wishful thinking. :D

To be honest, I don’t think it’s a good or bad sign. The interview was probably offered so late due to availability issues since Princeton (like most other schools) had a record number of applicants this year.

It’s certainly not a bad sign. You’re still in the running, right? I interview for a peer college and our “after the deadline” interview requests are for people that the admissions office still wants more info about.

Best of luck to you.

It seems that you are one of the rare few whose interview will actually make all the difference - why else would they schedule one so late in the game?

Your interview will get you in or keep you out. Don’t screw up.

From what I’ve been told by one of my close friends (who is a Pton Alum, interviews for them as well), they try to interview ALL applicants. If you’ve received an interview offer this late, it’s just them trying to interview everyone who applied, not a sign. According to him, it could be because the interviewer recently became freer and thus, is interviewing now.

Good luck!

yeah i am in the same boat.
I got contacted for an interview a couple days ago and hoped
that it was a sign i had atleast made it through some kind of
preliminary screening process.

ehh… it never hurts to hope

Actually, the deadline for submitting the reports is March 6th.

Thanks guys :D:D haha hmm I guess it doesn’t matter whether its a good sign or not, I’m still gona try my best anyway.

anddd good luck to Dorkoa!
