I just killed myself

First off, you have to be IN before they kick you out. Second, you really don't seem to think very much of these schools, do you?

"Will they kick me out just because of this typo."

I somehow don't think you quite have a grasp for these schools. Have to talked to anyone who went there, or just applied for the Namesake of the universities?

Give them some credit, mate. No one thing (short of a disciplinary suspension) will get you kicked out of these schools. They're all excellent universities, and they want bright students. A typo is a typo, if you're meant to get into the university, you will.

HVSahin, I meant "kick" out of the admissions office. My biggest mistake (I suppose) in the application, the error was quite glaring (it was the title, after all). It was funny, I actually saved the file as the correct title but online form gave an extra "s". Oh well, other RD applicants, watch out for those "s"'s!

Never not worry you doesn't ****ed yourself.... :)

LOL! I can't believe my f.........c....u......ked was censored.

haha, collegekid, "never not worry"? :S

I told my asian parents, they almost killed me...

tell your parents they have a brilliant kid whose value isn't measured by the school he goes to, and when (if) you get in rub it in their faces.

StudentConfidential, you should not worry about the past because it is simply what it was and is currently now, the past. It does not help to worry yourself. Just to make you feel better, I made some silly grammatical errs on my Princeton APP (not as blatant as the double negative above)...in essence, mistakes reveal your humanity.....so don't stress out over it and retain your optimism. :)

i think "dreams comes" sounds like something artsy and/or fartsy... they'll probably read it like some crazy poetic license thing

unless you have crappy verbal scores, thats a different story....

haha//

i wouldn't worry about it....

but how did you not find out??;;

Student from all ur posts...you seem like a big worrier. I'd relax - its not a big mistake like others i've seen where the person puts "Thats why I can see myself at Columbia"...when its an essay for Cornell. I bet they won't even notice it...and if anything might see it as intentional. RELAX...RELAX

"HE mentioned an essay that said "I am interested in Berkley because..." (The school applicant was applying for was U of Penn!!!)"

Of course, lol. That was a major mistake.

haha, i wanted to finish all my apps in one day...so i pulled an all-nighter. I went over many edits of the essay..but i guess i never double checked the title!

advice: never pull an all-niter until it is Jan 1st...

too late.. i have that stuck in my head, i hope it sounds poetic :D

I hope i didn't put the wrong college name -__-"

on the other hand, it grabs attention?

You WILL regret your mistake on your essay..... just kidding. Dont worry

dont worry too much! as long as ur essay itself is most totally outstanding, i doubt it should be a MAJOR problem.

hey at least the only mistake u had was on ur title. (and titles arent necessary but i put a title on mine for some)

for me, i submitted all my apps and the next day, i got suggestions for my esaay and they were really good. and without them, i realized my essay sucked like @$$. i had too much tell , not enough show.... if only i hadnt submitted so early.... if i had waited one more day.... T_T

but WE SUBMITTED IT nothing we can do about it now cept hope for the best ;)

yah i agree
