I know I have to retake, but....

Context: Im a junior who just took my first SAT in October. I got a 2180.

CR: 760 (huge shocker - wasn't expecting above a 700)

Math: 720 (another shocker - was going for an 800)

Writing: 700, 10 essay 67 MC (don't understand how this happened - I thought it was easy when I took it...

So I know im gonna retake it, but I don't know when and honestly, I don't think I'll ever be able to top that CR Score because I never thought I'd get that high. I would only retake it to improve on Math and Writing. When should I retake it? January? March? June? I wanna prep beforehand

^That was pointless. No need to rub it in.
OP, Take it again after you have done considerable prep. If that means March, then March. If that means June, then June.

Take it again after solving every Maths and Writing exam you can get your hands on. Get familiar with all needed solving tactics/strategies, and get into the mentality of the SAT. Retake it in December/January.

I took a math sat class and my teacher told me to retake it in Jan. Because of winter break for studying, but now I’m thinking that may be too early. Im not one to study either… I have to be pushed to study
