I know it's very early (I'm only an incoming jr.), but I was wondering what I should focus on in considering my stats?

Trust me, this is NOT a brag thread...I'm simply wanting to get some feedback...I'm looking to go to a top-tier school (preferably: Columbia/Harvard/Stanford)

thats tight, look into recruiting for policy if you want to do that in college, theres a pretty active recruiting scene for policy at alot of top schools (I know Harvard does). I do LD so I'm a little out of luck in that respect... haha

Yeah, you look like a really strong applicant for any school you want to apply for. Just keep up your awesome work. Perhaps consider going on a visit/interview with some of these schools. You may also want to check out their essays and give them some thought as well. Good luck!

You're not going to win any diversity contests, lol...

White, Jewish, extrordinarily smart? No offense, but you're a dime-a-dozen...especially at places like Columbia, Harvard, and Stanford...

Now, am I saying that you can't get in? Of course not! Get every SAT section above 700 and you should have a great chance (assuming you keep up the grades,) but since the competition's getting tough, and diversity is more important than ever, crazy things happen, qualified applicants such as yourself get waitlisted and rejected. Not trying to be overly pessimistic here, but...you know it I'm sure...competition is fierce, man!

i don't know if you're into intel, but it gets people into schools.

my friend is going to wake forest on a full scholarship- i think some is need, and the rest is debate. just wanted to throw that in there (she's in some dual program, 2 years at wake and 2 at duke).

the SATs need to be higher for those schools, but you're only a sophomore... you'll be fine. :)

Oh, lol, no I'm not French. Just like the language.

Yeah, I was pres soph year because I stepped up (the guy who was elected resigned)...but I decided to go to VP jr year so that I would have some time for other stuff.

Also, I don't know if this helps...but my greatuncle (who I was close to) founded the Human Genome Project at Columbia (they were chromosome 11!)

Not what you asked but pleasepleaseplease also look at some other schools. There are plenty of good schools out there, you have no imagination whatsoever if you just apply all Ivy's.
