<p>(Towards the end of my Junior year i experianced some adverse conditions at home that caused me to becoem more lethargic and my grades to drop. Before second semester junior year i was rank 1. I wrote my common app essay on how those adversities made me a better person overall, and i hope the colleges will take that into account when lookign at my gpa/rank.)</p>

<p>I have taken an very rigorous courseload. I will graduate with 8 APs courses.
I am also taking Elementary Statistics at the local community college</p>

<p>I'd say you have a fair chance. Your SAT's are on the low end for applicants. Your rank isn't very good... I'm not sure how well they take excuse essays, you have to realize that they reject over half of the valedictorians... so the rest of your application has to shine. Your EC's are good though. Hope for 800's on SAT II and write a stellar essay.</p>
