<p>I don't know why everybody is always like, "the DREADED FRIEND ZONE," and tries their best to stay out. I happen to enjoy being friends and only friends with girls..</p>
<p>EDIT: I have a girlfriend.. it's not that I'm not interested in girls =) In fact, it might be because I have a girlfriend that I immediately friendzone girls I meet if they don't get me first..</p>
<p>trust me dude, it's fun for about 2 minutes, then it gets old really fast</p>

<p>i've never heard people make a big deal about being in the "friends zone". unless they like the girl....then yeah, that would be a problem, haha. basically, don't enter the friend zone unless 1. you don't have a chance anyway, or 2. you only want to be friends.</p>
<p>never enter the friendzone if the other person doesnt want to be in it. i have lost a couple of friends this way.</p>
<p>First off, I just discovered this HS section. I'm an old (compared to you guys) college sophomore.</p>
<p>When I was in HS, I always stayed in the friend zone. This was mostly because of a buddy of mine who lost a good deal of his female friends because of ventured out of it and wanted to be everyone's boyfriend. He did--for about a week with each one.</p>
<p>I find that friendship is more important than love. Most of my female friends I loved as friends--if you get what I mean there. These were people who meant a lot to me just because of our friendships.</p>
<p>In the long run, don't be surprised if one of these old friends falls in love with you or something. They often will find other guys who turn out to be world class jerks and then they come back to you because they value your friendship.</p>
