Is there something I can do?

Sadly, not everyone gets an interview--even though one may live near many alumni. Perhaps this is the case?

I'd contact your ASC director. I'm sure the admissions office can give you his or her name. The ASC director may say that you can't have an interview because applications are up this year and there aren't enough interviewers to cover (yes, even in New York; the vast majority of alums in NYC do not interview). If you can't get an interview, at least you'll understand why.

If you do talk to your ASC director, don't be whiny or accusatory, just say that you'd really like an interview.

Yeah. We live in Westchester, and my daughter has not been contacted for an interview.... we got the Yale blue sheet with a Law Partner's (Wilkie Farr and Gallagher) name as the contact -- but my d likes decorum and does not want to bother this guy by calling him since he's probably very busy.

Oh well-- she got Brown, Cornell, Georgetown, Tufts and Pomona interviews, so she has almost more than she can handle---.. And I think she secretly would not mind going to USC (was accepted last week with probably a half scholarship) for the sun and plentiful course offerings!
