<p>Wow, those are some imposing statistics. I have a lot of respect for those of you who are facing up to these odds with a cheerful demeanor. I have faced similar odds in my graduate admissions experiences and I didn't handle it as gracefully as many of you seem to.</p>
<p>Just wait until some of us get rejected. It's going to be a crying fest for the girls and an angry ticked off session for the boys (that wasn't stereotyping at all...).</p>
