Columbia is one of my favorites!

looking pretty good, if (A) your school is as competitive as you say, and (B) your score on the SATs mirrors that of your PSAT.

Looks good...I echo Denzera's sentiment...get those SATs the same as the PSAT and you are really looking good...also you should visit if/once excepted and do perspectives of color weekend at Columbia (I have friends who did it and chose to matriculate because of it :)

Very good chances, but try to sound less arrogant, adcoms usually don't like that... I'm sure the tone of your application will be more humble, right?

Are you male or female?

Don't assume your SAT will be as high as your PSAT though. PSAT math is easier than SAT math and it's your worst section. Considering the word "Unctuous" has appeared on a PSAT and you got a 79, I'm preeeety sure you don't need to study for that section.

based on the profile I would wager $20 to your $10 that the OP is a guy.

not that I think it makes a huge amount of difference in his app, in this case.

hahah yeah i'm a guy

oh the woes of being "artsy"

He's URM, assuming those grades--- you are in.
