The colleges may just think this guy is lazy. He didnt even bother with using the spellcheck button. But I actually omitted a word so I shouldn't be working.

Uhhh. I did use a spell check button. are F888ing crazy? READ THE DAMN QUESTION !!! Spell check makes sure that the word is spelled correctly, duhh.., and not whether it is the RIGHT word. In my case instead of "allows" I put "allow" spelling of which is correct, but its just not the right word. If you read my question you would understand what I was saying. Now tell me that I AM lazy, you did not even read the question.

Conflict? tsk tsk!

Look, stanford. You didn't even misspell a word, you just used the wrong form of it. You left out one letter. Don't worry about it.

And there's no need to further the argument, just let it rest. Your acceptance/rejection is not going to rest on a slight mistake that isn't significant to begin with.

But you are lazy, you didnt do a forum search, and this question has been answered before. Just hope the adcoms dont see this thread.

Who are the adcoms? And why would it matter?

I did do a forum search but there were all about major misspellings etc. It did not relate to this. I would be lazy if I did not open a new thread and relied on what someone told someone else in another thread that my search will spit out.

To answer your question:

Is not it terrible?

you will be fine

just do a freaking search next time

Why is this thread even being continued? Stanford09, you made the mistake, you can't change it, so why worry about it? There are other schools.
