Hey. I am taking the SAT on June 2 and I need to know a good study plan for one month of straight studying. If anyone could help me out, especially those of you have improved 100+ points from the first time you took it. This is my second time and I really need to improve at least 100 points. Thanks

I didn't really have a day-by-day study guide, but I did improve over 200 points from my first SAT when I took the second one. Basically, what I did was I looked over vocabulary words on a daily basis, because Critical Reading killed me on the exam. I did a lot of practice tests from the College Board's SAT book, otherwise known as the "Blue book." The Blue book was tremendously helpful and I would highly recommend getting a copy if you don't already have one.

Focus on whatever it was that you did poorly on in the first exam. Don't waste too much time doing what you already know. Also, look over the strategies, such as leaving anything blank in the math grid-ins is actually worse than filling them in with something.

Manage your time well, even when you are doing the practice exams. Study in a well lit room with very few distractions. Focus focus focus! If you cut corners while practicing, you will find yourself in an unfavorable situation come test day.

Hope this helps!
