My parent is basically forcing to do some kind of job since I'm legal to work now. I'm planning on majoring in biomed, so I was thinking of volunteering at a local hospital. Is there any other helpful volunteering places that can actually benefit me in my future career??

:D THANKS!

I’m going to tell it to you straight.
You will not find a Hospital Job.
Volunteership, sure.
I’m assuming that’s not what your parents want.
You have to go entry level.
CVS Pharmacy, Red Lobster, Retail stores.
You might be thinking,
“This doesn’t have anything to do with my major”
“It won’t help me”
It will.
You will have to find a job in college
Almost certain
Almost certain it’ll be entry level.
It also shows colleges that you are a social person
And responsible
There are few, if not no, medical entry level jobs
You don’t have to get a McJob.
Just a temporary one to gain some cash flow is what I believe your parents want.
Personally, I’m 16 and work at State Farm and enter data into Computers and file stuff.

My 2 cents.

Yea… That’s what I meant, volunteering! I need a volunteer job/work.

He’s telling me that I should get a job. And then he said it has to relate to your future. And then he said it has to make money.

And I was like WHAT?

Get a job at a pharmacy.

Like walgreens?

OHMIGAWD, that’ll be awesome if I can get an job/work/whatever at wlagreens! One of them is down my street

Walgreen’s is good, but it’s really cutting down on employees.
Nowadays retail can be quite frustrating because companies are trying to operate with the same functionality, but with fewer people.
Personally, I believe if there was a CVS near your house to go there, otherwise Walgreen’s is fine.
But anyway, best wishes :D

Thanks. My parent made a deal with me. So I think I’m going to volunteer at a local hospital.
