im currently a freshman at csulb and im majoring in mechanical/aerospace engineering [haven't decided yet] and i really want to go to a UC, preferably UCB, UCSB, UCSD, or UCLA because i just dont feel accomplished going to CSULB and i feel like ill be more excited and be more challenging going to a UC. I was wondering if it would be worth it to transfer in two years or just stay at CSULB and just go to a UC for graduate school....and if i decide to transfer, which campus would be the best for engineering [i kno berkeley but i just want info lol]

Well, if you're going to transfer, I'd transfer to Berkeley, its tied for the 2nd best engineering school in the country. If I were you Id do what I want. Sounds like you're not being challenged enough at CSU and you want harder stuff so I'd transfer. But if you have good friends or like CSU, then I'd stay. It all depends.

There is a whole subforum dedicated to UC transfers:

You can reach it by clicking on "College Discussion" in the upper left of this screen, and then scrolling down. You will find it under the Transfer Forum.

Good luck!
