so im attending cc fall of 2019 as a bio major and want to go to UCLA 2 years…my counselor said it would take me 3 years. I just wanna know if it is possible to transfer to a UC in 2 years as a bio major PLEASE HELP
I would post in the UC transfer thread. Very possible to transfer in 2 years. It depends upon how many units you take each semester, are able to get your classes and if you want to do summer sessions.
Did you check assist.org and plan out your schedule?
Here is UCLA’s transfer information.

It’s tough. It would help to start with some summer courses this summer. If you have some AP that will also help.
Go to assist.org and start calculating classes. It’s the sequences that are the big issue. Do not do IGETC.
what is IGETC and why shouldn’t I do it
It’s the CCC gen ed path, but there are a lot of courses. If you’re STEM with a lot of major requirements it’s better to do general breadth for GE, which has less courses. The bio major on assist should explain it at the top. Each department at each UC may have slightly different breadth.
As said by @Ohm888 focus first on meeting the xfer requirements for your major. Fill in your remaining classes with ones that count for GE. IGETC is a set of classes accepted by each UC as satisfying their GE requirements even if it omits a class or two the school requires for students attending starting as a frosh. But it isn’t the end of the world if you don’t have IGETC, typically there is just a class or two left to take. And enrolling in a lower-division class after transfer can be a way to reduce the workload and stress a bit, plus it might be interesting!
Since you mention you want to go to UCLA for Bio there are 2 things you can do. First, look up the UCLA L&S GE requirements and tilt your GEs towards satisfying as many as you can (rather than taking random GEs in hopes they apply at all UCs. Second,if your CC offers TAP then you should take part since it gives an advantage in admission plus means the college has counselors with extra training to understand the UCLA xfer requirements.
