So I want to pursue a career in accounting..

I got accepted to UCSB with business econ
They have an emphasis on accounting
I heard their reputation as a party school might hurt my job prospects.. anyone know anything about their business econ program?

I got accepted to UCLA with sociology
I planned on minoring in accounting... and I didn't wanna risk not getting accepted so I didn't apply with a business econ major

I got accepted to UCI with business econ
I'm not sure if they have an emphasis on accounting but I tried looking it up but nothing about accounting

I got accepted to CSUN with accountancy
It's a cal state so I'm not too crazy about going there but I heard there program for accounting wasn't bad

I want to be able to get a good job once I graduate, so where is the best place for me to go, anyone have any advice?

CSUN's accounting program is UCLA's accounting program. it is really hard and from the accountants that I've spoken to, it is one of the best in California, despite being a CSU.

I suggest you don't pick a major b/c it sounds "interesting." I found sociology to be "interesting" but when I actually started to take it, I found myself hating it more and more everyday.

Women's Studies may be "interesting"... but do you love it? Enough to dedicate the next two years of your life to completing a BA in it?

CSUN does seem like a good choice to me esp for what I want to do in the future but its hard to pass up going to UCLA or UCSB.. the campuses are amazing
