<p>Certainly there has to be some community, group or collective organization that you either belong to or subscribe to their values. Initially I would have agreed with you, it seemed out of place… but not really because it allows you to describe something that is unique and personal to you. At first I didn’t think there was much of a community that I belonged to, but I ended up writing about my place within the military veteran community. I really didn’t want to write about that aspect, but I realized that most of my traits that I would take to Michigan were either established or reinforced since I’ve been in the military. </p>
