I need insight

Hi im entering Junior year and my dream school in UMiami im looking into applying to that school as well as UF, FSU, UFC, FIU and maybe Nova but I’m undecided. I know i want to pursue medicine and i want to major in Biology since i don’t think pre med is a major. My Stats-
UW 3.05
W 3.95
I do plan on raising my gpa because im taking an flvs right now and a dual enrollment class because i heard that raises your gpa.
I haven’t taken the SAT or ACT but i have started studying for it.
I took 2 AP classes my sophomore year and passed both and im taking 3 AP classes Junior year, i also plan on taking more senior year maybe 2 more.
I will be taking more dual enrollment classes aswell for the next 2 years, im scheduled to start another one in the fall semester.

Community service- I’ve done a couple hundred hours im currently in a program for the summer and im aiming on getting 1,000 I’ also read that UM has an internship program for those interested in medicine so i wanted to do that next summer its for incoming seniors and juniors only.
Extracurriculars- I was in swim team for about 2 years in 6th and 7th but that’s pretty insignificant so other than that i haven’t done sports. I started a club at my school called HOSA (health occupation students of america) im president of it. I also wanted to look into joining Natinal honor society, science honor society, and English honor society im just waiting for the school year to begin.
I wanted to ask if there’s anything i can do to increase my chances on getting accepted to UM or any other school but mostly UM. I’ve been doing research all summer on colleges and watching all sorts of videos of people getting in im just so worried because i really like that school and i dont want to fail. Also, if anyone had any advice on how i can raise my GPA that would be great.
Thanks

Unless you transposed the last two digits on your UW GPA, the main thing that you need to work on is your grades. If the 3.05 is correct, unless there is a major change in your grades, you will likely not ever make it to med school. I would suggest not to be a biology major. Unless you do additional school past a BS, the job market is weak.

Premed classes in university are going to be a LOT more difficult than high school classes. You are going to need to pull up your academic efforts a LOT if you want to have any chance at all of getting to medical school.

I think that taking more difficult classes is not the best plan. The best plan is to work hard enough to get a lot of A’s in the classes that you are taking.
