I am new to the forums and I had a few questions about prep school

I have recently made the decision that I was going to apply to prep school to help further my educational experience and to help me get in and help me become prepared for college. I am currently a junior attending a public school with a average/low average reputation and really want to attend a prep school to get that amazing academic experience. I am taking my ssat in a week and I was wondering if anyone had any personal knowledge or just knowledge about a few schools. Please point out pros and cons about the education(teachers classes), campus, surrounding area, etc.

Deerfield(would love to go there but I am not sure if I can get in)
Proctor
Taft School
Cheshire(my dad is a legacy)
Berkshire
Brewster
Tabor

I you have any other schools you would like to suggest please tell me!

I recommend at least trying for Phillips Andover or Exeter.

Most of the schools you got there, except for Deerfield, are basically average schools, like the top 30 or 50 best boarding schools. These are good for backups. You should apply to like St. Pauls, or Exeter or Andover.

You want to tell us your last name too? Don’t tell people your real name because this is a forum on the public internet and you never know what Deerfield or Cheshire admissions officer could be lurking here. @clydoclyde: people don’t always want to apply for the top BS like Andover or Exeter sometimes they want what is best for them.
