I need some help, guys (UC)

OMG I got into CIS 1 at SMC!!!!

mrmuirc: how did you realize this mistake? They had the ccct icon next to the transferrable courses in the UC application....I guess a better thing would be if they actually gave you the total units at the end too..

Citan, there were actually a few classes that, for some reason, I couldn't get to show up as "ccct." I made note of this on the application; I guess one of those was the one that couldn't have transfered to begin with.

What's the best way to let Berkeley and LA know about this now?

Nevermind, emailed UCLA and faxed Berkeley.

Good luck, muirc.

Thanks, Gabe. Even if things didn't get through on time, at least I've got a solid appeal now.

Oh, also, do you think I've done everything right so far? Should I call or do anything else, as far as letting the schools know?

You can submit it in one of the online forms at the Berkeley login.

got into berk!! drinks anyone?

I'm in too!! Enginenr9, we're hella sketchy, but that matters not now!!!!

hell yeah. made it by the hair of my chin.

You are being admitted as a transfer student below junior-level. DO NOT ENROLL in additional course work unless your have received approval from UC Berkeley. Contact your Admissions Officer if you have any questions

actually i almost wish they had admitted me for the spring. then i could have entered as a junior clean and simple. i guess my status for the fall is second semester sophmore?

damn and i already registered for sf state too haha. i had almost convinced myself that i would be happier there, in anticipation of ucb rejection. what a commute that would have been everyday....

mrmuirc... look at your class schedule, and talk to the instructor(s) who might add you as "late-add," or talk to the dean of whatever department to see if she/he will let you add... and look at the ccc around you to see which one allows people to add....

good luck

Haha, thanks yazi, but this is kind of an old thread. Already taken care of :)

Also, thanks to everyone who helped me out on this thread; I probably wouldn't have gotten in otherwise.
