Unfortunately I don't think I did so on this January SAT taken just yesterday.
I have a cold and I'm miserable. I didn't concentrate too well on the Critical Reading sections...
How can I effectively break 2000? It's all I need! :)
Thank you.

For Writing: I got the Barrons book for the Writing, and it really helped me because there are only really a few rules that you have to memorize. After using that book, I got a 790 on writing in my sophomore year.

For Reading: I would tell you to read a lot, but that won't really help since schoolwork seems to always get in the way. Instead, the CR focuses on your ability to basically be mundane. All of the answers are in the text, and you cannot interpret the questions in a creative way. You just have to keep on thinking about the big picture and what the passage really wants you to know. I think the the CR in the blue book and Princeton Review books is really good for practice.

For Math: The blue book has some really good math problems, so you might want to take a look at those and try to understand how to solve the TYPES of problems that they give. That helped me out for the Jan SAT.

**Oh yeah, and remember that when a line is tangent to a circle, that just means it's perpendicular to the point on the circle!! (Trust me, it will help you) :)
