I plan on running for Class President or Class VP this upcoming year?

Hello everyone. How are you all today? Hope everyone is well. Thanks for taking the time to read my question.

In this upcoming freshmen year, I will be running for either Class President or Class Vice President as I always had a huge interest in the SCA/SGA program. I always liked doing this for my school and showing my support and gratitude to the staff and students. I have already done this before in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade (being a class representative), but I was wondering if there are any good ways I can improve the school and help other students while following the guidelines? As the SCA President experience in 6th and 8th grade, and SCA Historian experience in 5th and 7th, we held many spirit-related events and helped students but weren’t able to propose anything new. Will we be allowed to starting 9th grade?

I was also wondering how can I use what I learned in earlier years in the upcoming four years of high school as I run for the spots and how can I make sure I am a positive role model and supporting the school environment?

Thanks again and have a good day!

Your first question is very specific to your school (or maybe I’m reading it wrong), so I can’t really answer that.

As to how to be a positive role model, offer help to your fellow students, be friendly to everyone, talk to everyone (don’t form a “clique” and be exclusionary), and be humble.

@yonceonhismouth Thank you very much!

Have a good day!

Also try to see what your SCA has done in the past…see if you can look at old minutes or talk to the Adviser.
That can help you find out what types of things they do…i am sure some things they do every year (like dances) and maybe there are new things they do (like charity drives or something)

@bopper Thank you!

Have a good day!
