Hey I recently got accepted into SUNY Albany. I was also looking at SUNY Stony Brook i was wondering if you could tell me if i stand a chance of getting in-

I currently have a GPA of 2.57 in my first sem and i am on a 4.0 right now as per my mid-terms.I have completed 18 credits at SUNY Plattsburgh. I scored 1600 on my SAT's. I was in the top 10% of my class in high school.

how do you have a 2.57 and you are in the top 10%? your school must suck.
what does the val have? a 2.9?

I have a 2.57 in College I had a 3.79 in high school. Besides high schools back home in India are very competitive. For example I did calculus 2 in grade 10

I would contact the schools on their transfer rules and regulations. Have no clue beyond what they will tell you. If you get your 4.0 and had the same amount of credits you will have a 3.29, which may or may not be ok, assuming the course are meaningful.
