I really need your help, got accepted American University, but!

I got accepted at American University for the spring semester, I am a student a community college
In the acceptance letter they said my 53 credits were accepted
but they sent me message saying 12 credit was evaluated and they found their equivalences.
So, I sent an email saying what about the rest, do I need to take them over, will they cover my general requirement or anything
My counselor said most of your credits were accepted but most of them were not articulated yet, and once they are, he will be able to tell me which will satisfy the major and general’s requirement. They also sent me another email asking me to send courses descriptions to make the courses easier to get articulated

I am confused and I really need your help on this
I don’t want to repeat more courses or be in this university for a long time, I’ve already spent the last 2 years working on my courses
Is there any hope or it’s just a guessing game!
If it makes any difference, my gpa is 4.00, but I don’t think that matters to them that much!

Send the course descriptions and syllabuses as soon as you can (prioritize those that are candidates for fulfilling important requirements) to see if you can get them evaluated more quickly.

Yeah, I did that, but you know how the school will close in 2 days I sent it on Friday as soon as I got the message, but they close on the 24th.

Unless there is a prior articulation agreement, this is just the process they have to go through to see if the courses are equivalencies. This is why CC’s have agreements with some uni’s so you don’t have to go through this, the articulation is preset. If there is no agreement, then you have to choose classes very carefully and wait to have an evaluation. It sounds like the counselor thinks it will work out pretty well.

The only problem is that their semester starts on January 12th
So, I really don’t have a lot of time

Bump

You should be fine. AU is not out to trick transfer applicants like the school down the street.

I didn’t go to AU, went to VCU, what a sad choice. Ruined my future!

what happened???
