I Scored 110 Points Higher On My SAT...But Babson Made A Decision...But Won't Release

Alright, so I'm in a little bit of a weird situation here.

I applied to Babson EA with SAT scores of 1560 (May 09) and 1670 (June 09).

I had an alright shot at getting in with my recs, gpa, and plus I'm sort of a recruit.

Well yesterday I checked the status of my application and it said that the decision will be released on Dec. 29 at 3:00 PM Eastern (I'm assuming it's like a mass release).

Well this morning I checked my SAT score and I got a 1780...110 points higher. Disregard the fact that it's not like 110 points higher from 2100 to 2210, but still...for me I'm happy.

So what should I do?

I'm assuming they made their decision already, but they just won't release it until then....so I mean worst case senerio is I get denied flat out...next case (which I think is the most likely is I just deffered...best case accepted.

Should I email admissions office and tell them what I basically said on here or what?

Thanks for any help!

Can’t hurt.

Agree with Harris Hall. I did this last-minute to Georgetown (updated them on being elected President of my Entrepreneurship class, I was applying to the Business school) and I got in anyways.

how did you do it?

through email?

If you wanted to send them your score from this sitting, why didn’t you mark so when you were sitting it?

idk i thought i would do worst than before

mr california - yes, I shot them a short and sweet email with my Georgetown ID number, info (name etc) and the update

Just update them.
I gave U of C about 4 updates and they were fine with it.
Good luck!

“Babson’s Admissions Office Will Be Closed From Dec. 23 3:00 PM Eastern to Jan. 4th 8:00 AM Eastern”

The decision is released online on the 29th.
