People have told me the problems in that book are much more difficult than the real sat...is that true?

I have heard that as well, but then again you should think about it this way.

If you are able to do good, or at least decent using the Barron book then you should be able to nail the SAT :).

Barrons is difficult and over prepares you. Use it if you are strong in math and is aiming for a high score like 800 or close to that. You probably can add 100 or more points to the your Barrons practice test scores. If you don’t think you are strong in math, it might not be as useful since it is harder than the real test.

And that’s why I love Barron’s. :)
