I skipped precalc - can I get into McGill?

I'm American, and I just started looking into McGill, considering its low cost. However, all of the undergrad programs require precalc, but I skipped precalc entirely and went into AP calc (I got an A in the class and a 5 on the BC exam). Will I even be considered for admission?

Also, what kind of visa do most Americans choose to get when they study at McGill? I should probably look into this by myself, but I just want to have an idea…

There really is no choice of visa, it is 2 Study Permits:

For Americans, it is basically a lot of paperwork unless you appear on an international list of terrorists! Americans now need a valid passport too, even as a tourist.

As for the precalc question, I imagine that since you took calc BC, you will have met that requirement. Never hurts to email admissions though.

Thank you! And I’ll email admissions on Jan 3.

Corvids, same situation here re the precalc. If you wouldnt mind posting what you find out through admissions, would appreciate it! I am hoping that an A in Calc AB and a 5 on the AP (same as you) would more than meet the requirement!
