Is there anything that I can do especially since I already rejected UCSD.

not really....i guess you are pretty much stuck with Cal. The only option that you prolly have is to withdraw your acceptance to Cal and apply to SD for Fall 06. I don't think it is worth it since Cal is in a whole other league than SD.

what makes you change your mind though?
just curious...

It's ok if you already accepted Cal, but you already rejected UCSD? I haven't rejected any of my schools yet.

Problems with commitment? Call UCSD. You can get out of a SIR at Berk, I'm sure you can get back into UCSD as well. At worst, you'll have to tell them that your little brother did it on accident.

i sent in my SIR to cal and i was thinking of withdrawing it for ucla. i called both schools and they informed me that you need to send BOTH schools a letter (with signature) saying that u want to withdraw from cal and sign up with ucsd. of course you'll lsoe $100. then turn in SIR for ucsd ... but i dunno since u already rejected ucsd...try calling them and asking waht to do.

lots of people back out of their SIRS formany reasons like receiving better financial aid packages elsewhere and stuff

Yes, you can back-out. According to UCSD, if you let them know before May 1st that you made a mistake, they will let you back in; if they will, then go ahead and sign your SIR at UCSD. Then call CAL and ask them to withdraw your SIR.

You'll lose your deposit of $100 at CAL and you will lost another $100 for your SIR at UCSD.

Don't forget to file for housing ASAP and UCSD since it is limited.

You can still go to UCSD but you need to act quickly and now.

ucsd sucks
