I think I'm about to be suspended from my Ivy. My parents have no idea. Help??!!?

I messed up in a serious way. I came back from a leave during what would have been the spring of my junior year and registered for three classes, which tanked after the depression came back. I was prescribed an SSRI and felt much better by the end of the semester; I made a bunch of arrangements to finish all my work late. But then I just had no motivation to finish two 5-page papers, and I just turned them in now, one two weeks late, and one three weeks late. As a result, I may fail two classes (depending on whether or not the professors will accept such late work), which means I'll be eligible for suspension. The Academic Standing committee that decides all of this meets late next week.

My parents don't know anything. My younger sister is already on academic leave from college this semester.

How do I explain my extremely late papers to these professors, and get them to consider passing me? How do I bring my parents into this situation? What do I do while suspended? I'm at a total loss.

Hey- I ran across a different, very helpful thread, so consider this one closed.
