so who’d you turn down for Brown?

i turned down Dartmouth, Amherst, Cornell, Duke, Berkeley, LA for Brown

these threads are annoying

who cares?

I turned down your mom. I agree with elpope.

Swarthmore, Penn, Vassar

man, i can't stand you uppity ppl who are like "who cares" and "forget about chances, find your passions".

while those statements are good, i highly doubt you possess the maturity to really understand what they mean, not just on a superficial, "I'm past the college admissions stage" level.

Some people, in their free time, are interested in talking about these things, and what better place to do it than the number 1 college discussion board online?

So leave others alone. if you don't want to participate, then don't say anything. by posting, ur assuming some intellectual superiority by saying how "above" you are than those "crazed, college admissions high schoolers". if you really did understand why these posts are seemingly shallow, then you would respectfully disagree, but you dont understand, which is why you are so bitter. so shut up and let others discuss to their heart's content.

If you don't care, the best thing to do is to not post. Slightly OT but one of my schoolmates turned down Brown for Cornell after visiting both campuses. I think he thought Brown was too small and Cornell had a prettier campus. I thought he was crazy.

I turned down Brown.

I didn't get in

Ha!

berkeley was really hard to say no to. any my parents never miss an opportunity to tell me what a stupid choice i made, but w.e

show your parents some of the negative reviews of ucb on the student review site. most of them are pretty accurate.

I turned down Brown by applying to Duke early instead.. :p
