my rec letter from my english teacher was sent via common app,
but today i looked at my japanese teacher's rec letter (who knew me for a longer time)
and i really liked that one... so i would rather send that one in than the eng teacher's one..
how can i change it? or... do i have no choice?

i sent a teacher, two guidance councilors and a former employer, and I was fine. </p>
<p>that said, they'll be angry if both letters basically say the same thing, but if one offers new perspective, you're fine.</p>

<p>Well you definitely can't take the original one back if you've turned your application in. If they don't look at the second letter, it was already too late anyway. If they do accept it, at least it's already there to look at.</p>
<p>i didnt turn my application in yet, but i couldnt change the recommander because i already chose my english teacher :( o well, i will give it a try :)</p>
