If you think I got a GU letter, think again. This is a game to tell what you got in your mailbox today..

Let's see -- Invitation to Auburn's War Eagle Day..
Stuff from Northwestern
And uhmm.. that's about it for today.

LOL! Okay, I'll play...

Yet another info packet from NYU
Something from George Washington University (hmm, is that a sign?!?!) :(
A Lands End catalogue

And then a bunch of bills and stuff for my parents.

Let's see...all I got today was a letter from a college I'm not applying to (which I just threw away).

I got something from GW today too.
And a letter from BU, and somewhere else.

oh! tlaktan i thought you had gotten your letter early, i was really jealous!

today in the mail came an entire application from USC...where I've never expressed interest in...haha. and also a letter from my school about honor society.

I got a whole package from USC yesterday. Today I got something from Centre College, and a letter from Northwestern NROTC (somehow they knew that I had applied to the Naval Academy. Don't ask me HOW).

I got a big white package . . . from Colgate College where I'm not even applying. Then I got something from George Washington University and something from University of Evansville - both I'm not applying to.

Hey Smeds05, me and you have our birthdays 4 days apart..

Awesome :)

I only realized it because I went to your profile to see if you were also the same person who posted in the 50 most beautiful people thread.. hehehe. Cool though. Virgos rock.

A big envelope from St. John's University (???) where I'm not even applying. Also got info from GWU about honors programs and a newsletter from NYU.

It seems like everyone has been getting letters from GWU in the past couple of days.

I hate random college mail sooo much. When I first started getting it sophmore year, I thought it was the coolest thing, until the same colleges kept sending me letters and emails every week. The worst is the phone calls though...I get about 3 of those a week, from these random schools I've never filled out anything for, ever. I know St. John's has called me multiple times, and everytime I tell them that I'm not interested in their school, but they keep calling and sending letters. They need a do not contact list for colleges, like that Do Not Call list for telemarketers, or something.

I haven't gotten much from GW in a while, but I did get a booklet from NYU. That, and a check for Chanukah :-)

tlaktan-- my birthday is September 12th. Go Virgos!

Got something from NYU today, but that's it.

I got some stuff from Duke, NYU, and my aunt (X-Mas card). That's about it.

I think that we should designate an official name to the thread that will alert others to the fact that someone has received their decision. i.e. if someone gets a decision, and your the first to post it on CC, then you should start a new thread with a specific name so everyone knows what it is. Am I making sense? Whatever. I can't think of a good name, so does anyone else have any idea?

PS- and if you someone does make a "fake" notification thread, it is punishable by death. And by death I mean extremely angry posts directed at that person. :p

Yeah, someone should make an "EA Acceptees" thread once their accepted for all acceptees to post in. I'll make the "EA Deferral" thread in a few days. :)

How about just "EA Decisions"--after all, why segregate after all we've been through together (albeit on the computer)

agreed. everyone's in this together.

I agree too. But just please don't make in advance, okay? Whoever gets their decision first, regardless of what it is, just make a threat that says "EA Decisions."

From now on, I'm not going to check my mailbox until I go on CC. I want to know that letters are in, so that when I do finally get the nerve to go out there and check, I'll be totally prepared. Does this make sense? :)
