I will turn down Harvard for ______________.

for someone at my school that i kind of know: “I will turn (did turn) down Harvard for Pomona.”

he was so excited from what i heard when he checked his cellphone and found out he got into harvard. he was like showing people his cellphone with the message and all of that. this was a while ago, a few weeks? and i just learned today from a friend that he’s turning harvard down. absolute shocker. give me that acceptance lool!! i was like, since he changed his mind on what college to go to a few times now (from rice to harvard to pomona), that he might change his mind again, but then my friend says that it’s too late now… and so i was like looool he’s going to crawl to harvard and beg them on his knees to let him in, all the while saying “i repent i repent.” (btw, this friend was waitlisted at harvard) and then just as i thought of the fact that my friend was waitlisted, he steals the words write out of my mouth: that freed up spot will go to me and i’ll be there laughing maniacally. xD fun day in econ today. ap calc bc test tomorrow and we spent the whole time talking about college and how to remember the partial fraction formula for the test.

all in good fun. =)

Red: You remember “ultraviolet minus voodoo” for uv - (integral)vdu, and Long Island Pet or LIPET for which of the things gets the u over the dv (logs/lins, inverse trig, products, e values, and trig).

Personally, I’m hoping for more people turning down Harvard this year - my friend’s still clinging to the waitlist even after the acceptance deadline. :(

loool you know what i’m talking about. um lool i didn’t remember it that way… in fact, i didn’t even need it for the stupid ap test lol. it’s ok though. =]

my friend is over the waitlist. he got waitlisted to dartmouth too. in fact, when he found out that he had to have an interview for harvard, he was like, man ***, i only applied to harvard for fun lol. anyway, he’s really smart and got a 1500/1600 on the sat without like any studying. anyway he’s over it. he’s going to ucla. he’s always wanted to go there. i asked him, and he was hesitant to go to harvard even if he gets off the waitlist. he’s already prepping for ucla
