IB HL Math or HL Bio?

So our school only lets us take 3 HL courses.
I'm currently a sophomore, taking AP Calc AB.

It's required that we take HL English and HL History, so we can only pick one other HL class.

I plan to follow a career in medicine-- like a doctor or medical researcher.

Should I take HL Bio or HL Math?
If I take HL Bio, then I'll be in SL Math year 2--but then I'll be repeating bunch of concepts.
But then if I take HL math, (then I'll be in HL year 2) then I'll have to give up Bio...

Or should I just do take IB certificate? So that I can take HL Bio and Calculus BC?

Is 4 HLs too much work? (If I convince my school to let me take 4 HLs)

Thanks!

you can do 4 HLs but getting 7’s in all of them would be hard work.
I suggest doing certificate. unless you REALLY want to take TOK, do CAS and write an extended essay (all good things) If you have to choose between the two I’d probably go with Bio. it might get you out of some intro courses in college if you plan on going to school in the US…
and if you get like a 6 or 7 on your final exam.

ya, math hl will absolutely kill u if u don’t have a firm background in math.
