<p>why don’t you just join PILLS? Pretty much all the officers there have taken a combination of those classes.</p>
<p>Or why don’t you go and utilize the various information available on the internet to see what people say about these classes/professors that teach them? It’s one thing to ask between 2 or 3 classes but you’re trying to have people figure out a whole schedule for you which you can do on your own. Use courserank, ratemyprofessor, the schedule, an actual counselor (?), actual students from your classes that are also deciding between these, back forums on here, etc.</p>
<p>IB 160 or 164? Choose the one that you find more interesting. Keep in mind that 164 somewhat overlaps with MCB 104 (which may or may not be a good thing for you).</p>

What major are you? You won’t get into 142 unless you’re public health. Take Stats 2 if you can’t get into PH 142.</p>

MCB 102. Full of pre-meds but it’s really not as competitive or difficult as you’d think.</p>

Econ 1? I really don’t know a thing about the others but Econ 1 is pretty much the standard class for most people.</p>
<p>IB 160. For 164 Nielsen is great lecturer, but Slatkin is not that good and Bachtrog is said to be horrible. For IB 160, Padian and Boore are great. Simms isn’t all that good, but 2/3 good is better than 1/3 good.</p>
<p>Take Stat XB2 online through UC Extension preferably with Makan Rokni. Easiest stat class available</p>
<p>Econ 2 no longer is offered. Econ 1 is your safest bet.</p>

<p>104 is a prereq for 130A. 130 is no longer offered. I have no idea what is X107A. Although 104 is a prereq for 130A, I thought it was harder and did much worse in that class.</p>
