Please??????????????????????????????????

cheers

Hey are you still running this thread? If so, I suggest you go into "What are my chances?" forum and describe yourself there. Anyway, I think that apart from your IB score, you also need to take the SAT tests, go to About the SAT Reasoning Test and SAT Subject Tests for more information.
Also, colleges (especially the top-notched one like Harvard) also look for those who held leadership titles, doing long-tem extra curricular activities/volunteer work/jobs that show your interests and talents. Try to participate in many competitions and remember to sharpen your essay skills as these colleges will learn the REAL you from there. Good luck!

@dcarvalho: top-notch US universities (i assume you're reffering to top 25 on USNEWS) will look beyond perfect grades (i'm not clear about IB scoring system but i'm guessing your grades are considered good). in fact there are hordes of people with excellent grades getting rejected from really good universities.

however, if your ECs and personal characteristics live up to your grades, that's something/
