Let's say you take some IB tests junior year.. can you chose not to send some of them to colleges? or how does that work?

(anyone who has already done it... your answer would be greatly appriciated)

You don't have to send them to colleges at all.

Can you send some.. and not others?.. and will they know which tests you took?

You don't have to send them. You use them for
1) scholarships if your school has them
2) getting out of a college class

Its like AP testing. Except you're REQUIRED to do it. :P

When you don't have to send any at all, I'm pretty sure you're allowed to send some and not others. They'll know which tests you took because they get your schedule. If you have "IB" infront of it, that means you took that test.

Thanks for the reminder to send mine! =)

hmm.. I thought all your "IB" classes would say IB on them...

Yeah, they do. All your classes have IB in front of them. It doesn't matter if you take the IB test for the class or not. For example, I took IB SL Euro History as a senior this past year and it said "IB" in front of it while not testing in it. Anyways, IB scores should be out! I lost my damn PIN # tho, ehhh

So then how do the colleges know which tests you took? (junior year)

^ Colleges have an optional spot where you can voluntarily list the grades on any AP, IB, A-Level, French Bacc, etc. exams you have taken. They do not need score reports, and expect you to report these honestly and accurately. Just list the ones in which you have done well. My advice: for APs list 4s and 5s, and for IBs list 6s and 7s
