Ideas on what to sell to the average High School kid.

So my school is having this Hawaiian themed talent show and dance outside on the field, and during the whole time (6-10pm), around 40 clubs set up tables and sell anything they would like to the attendees.

Around 800 students are expected to attend, but around 10 clubs already reserved what they are going to sell.
Leis are already given for free :(

Do you guys have any suggestions on what to sell? It can be ANYTHING! Just has to be in 1$ increments.

I'm trying to raise money for my invisible children club. Thanks guys!

Friendship bracelets! You could also make them in some really fun hawaiian-y colors, like bright yellows and oranges and reds :D

That’s a pretty good idea! Any others?

I was going to sell glow sticks, but it ended up getting taken by a different club.

Where do you live? Are you allowed to sell food?

We do like the SAME exact thing at my school haha (except not as much students show up) but food is a spectacular idea.

I live in SD.

Yes we are!

Wow, I live in SD too! haha
I’m not sure what you meant by $1 increments. Do you mean that whatever you sell has to be $1?
Well, the club I’m in is selling Carne Asada fries. Almost all of the booths @ our school luau sell food.

How about a tropical drink? Those could sell big if they are good and word spreads.

Just using Google:
http://www.whattodrink.com/drinkrecipes/10831-hawaiian-margarita.asp

No tequila of course though :D

If it has to be $1, then sell chips. Are chips already reserved?

@bneleh it means that I have to sell is 1$, 2$, 3$, etc. Yeah most of ours does too.

Haha, where would I get such a drink?

and batllo i will look into that!

I won’t say it…

I’m leaning towards the Carne Asada fries; they sell very well. The only downside is that you’d have to sell them for probably $5.

^ [Carne asada fries - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Carne asada fries - Wikipedia) I had to google what it was (I guessed it meant roasted beef fries) but that looks freakin’ delicious! If I ever go to San Diego, I will have to try it. 2000 calories though hehe. Definitely a good “thisiswhyyourefat.com” entry.

I’d also like to second noimagination’s suggestion :D

^ LOL. It’s a hit around SoCal, because of the large Mexican population. I personally have never tried it because I’m not good with mixed foods. Literally, it looks like a giant mess but everyone else seems to love it and it sells well.

@ the OP: If not the fries, you could always try orange chicken (Korean Club sells that one) annnd In-N-Out works well too.

@beneleh Hey those are really good ideas!

I just need to adjust the price accordingly… That’s the hardest part! How much do they sell those things for?

Carne Asada fries: You know Cotixan right? It’s in Heritage. They offer modified prices if you’re buying like 50, 75, or 100 at a time. If you want to make a profit, you have to sell them @ $5.
Orange chicken: I believe it’s from Rice King, idk. They’re also $5. They sell out SUUUUPER quickly. At our Food Fairs, they last like 20 minutes until they’re all gone -_-
In-N-Out: Not too sure about this one… but I’m sure you could contact the Eastlake In-N-Out.

popcorn, super buttery

Condoms. Trust me. It’ll increase club membership as well.

^■■■■■.

However, I think you should sell drinks, they are extremely profitable and it’s easier to handle.

Meth.

pot and booze! all high schoolers like pot and booze :D
