If an AP teacher has yet to change my grade..

If I currently have a B in a class, but it should be an A and the teacher is going to change it, but I don't know when..should I put down an A on the UC app since by the time i send my transcript to the UC if i get accepted, it will be changed? I don't want having a B to affect my admissions when it should be an A..(but it's a B currently o n the transcript; teacher needs to do paperwork before it's changed)

should I go ahead and put down an A? Or should I put down a B and explain that the grade will be changed soon and an ammended transcript will be sent later..? I just don't like having that B hurt my GPA and ultimately my admission without having a chance to show them the real transcript

Put down the B. If it's changed, send the transcript. If it doesn't get changed, then putting down the A = rejection when they verify after you've received and "acceptance" letter.

just ask your teacher if you should put down an A on the app which is essentially asking if he'll definitely change it.

I agree, communicate with the teacher. I'm guessing he or she is a reasonable person and would work with you if you truly have earned an A.
