If I dropped the class at the semester is that okay?

Hello all,
I have a question regarding what the effect of me having dropped a class will be on my college application. I’m
A sophomore in my second semester. I’ve gotten straight A’s in the top classes and I am first in a class of 800. I have focused and well developed extracurriculars with leadership positions and awards. I was taking two languages freshman year and first semester sophomore year. However after finishing the first semester of sophomore year I decided to stop taking one of them (French). On my transcript it states I got an A in French for first semester. I replaced French with Ap macro a one semester course. By dropping French I was able to participate in the euro challenge due to being in ap macro. The decision was based off of this and how my interest was dwindling in French but growing in other areas. Will this look bad to colleges? Or will it be overlooked?

Thank you,
I tried to give as much info as possible and if more is required just ask.

Also on the transcript it won’t say drop or withdrawal it’ll just not show up for second semester

Yes, assuming you are still taking another language (you said you were taking two) it is OK to stop taking one after the semester break.

Yes, you’re fine.
