i heard there are certain classes you need to take early for certain majors

i am going as undeclared. i think you will be able to graduate in four years. so go to the uci website and see what breadth courses are required for graduation no matter what your major is. and take those classes first. cuz thats what i will be doing.

oh thanks for your advice
i've been worrying about this for a while
i don't know what to major in :(

No. It doesn't mean you can't graduate in four years. A lot of students are undecided/undeclared and even more change majors at least once. What you want to do is take introductory courses in areas that might interest you that will also meet breadth requirements. If one of the FYP sequences interests you, it's another option.

what are fyp sequences?
