If I hear by January 31st, will mid-year grades matter that much?

<p>I am supposed to hear from Penn State-UP by Jan 31st, my 1st semester is over around January 30th which means they wont send out the scores until 2 weeks into February. If I get into Penn State, these grades wont matter too much correct? I have a C+ in AP Chem and AP Calc but I haves B's through A+'s in other classes.</p>
