If I made a housing contract right now, literally.

So as I said before, if I made a housing contract right now, obviously, I'm guaranteed the worst spots, but is it worth it? I've reconsidered bringing a car, which seems to change things up quite a bit, right now I'm probably not going to bring a car(save on gas, and insurance).

Should I just go ahead and make a contract right now? What can I expect? No A/C dorms with a late application tripple? How bad could it get? So just in terms of... everything, should I do it?

----- Edit:
Oh wait never mind it looks like I'd be put on a wait list, does this mean I'm pretty much guaranteed to not get housing? Should I just try? There's nothing to lose at this point right? I mean I have already paid the $25 so I could get my summer housing, but it's not like I'm bound to pay, if they do eventually offer me a contract, right?

If you have a contract you are guaranteed a spot somewhere. But yeah, you will probably get stuck in a late application triple in an undesirable location. Last time I looked there weren’t even any rooms available, they are still trying to process cancellations through to open up more room.

If you can swing it, you are probably better off getting an apartment somewhere near campus.

I see, thanks.

whatever you do, make sure you read whatever you agree to.
